LEEDS CHAPTER # 255 OF THE ORDER OF THE EASTERN STAR Contact Shelvy Pollard 613-273-5491 Meetings are held every 3rd Wednesday at 7:30pm in the Newboro Masonic Hall and are open to both men and women who together offer their talents in providing assistance to charitable organizations in our Community.
ELGIN LIONS Contact Paul Wainink at 613-359-1151 The Elgin Lions Hall is home to this group of volunteers who are very involved with many fundraising events that help to support many local programs, individuals and activities. Their commitment to the community is strong, and new members are always welcome.
ELGIN LIONESS Contact Shirley McCumber at 613-359-5570 This service club has been in service in our community for over 20 years. Members participate in two monthly meetings on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Elgin Lions Hall. This club consists of women from all walks of life, both working and retired. The Elgin Lioness Club participates in a number of community events. Donations and awards are provided to various local groups, Rideau District High School, South Crosby Public School and national charities.
THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION There are three Legions in our community; Portland 613-272-3556, Delta 613-928-2712 and Westport (North Crosby) 613-273-3615. There is also one Ladies Auxiliary located in Delta. These energetic service clubs offer support to local groups financially and with the use of their facilities. Legion members march in parades, sponsor poetry and essay contests in association with Remembrance Day, assist their community in special events and often provide community dinners, sport functions and comradeship.

The XI ZETA IOTA chapter of BETA SIGMA PHI sorority is a social and cultural group of positive, vibrant women who laugh easily, share well with others, are involved in community outreach and aren't afraid to eat dessert.
